Hi, I am Doug Hoover, permit me introduce myself and take advantage of the solutions that over 30 years experience and knowledge gathering in the Custom Jewelry field allows me to bring to the table.
Back in 1974 it was my good fortune to join my family in a long tradition of making jewelry. As a third generation jeweler the tools of the trade were at my finger tips and while looking back at those times it seemed very up to date. However in the last seven years the profession has really taken on a space age reality.
In 2000 we invested in a program known as "Digital Goldsmith" which allows the importation of your jewelry as well as mountings from stock and even stock waxes, so that you can see what your diamonds, or ours, look like in the new settings before we start working in metal.
Cad-Cam was added to our showroom in mid '04 and that allows us to design and carve models of the jewelry designs we create, again allowing you as the customer an advance look at what we will make before any metal casting or hand engraving.
Because we use rapid prototyping equipment right in the shop we can show you a precise wax of your jewelry and then cast and hand finish it for you right here. And the owner is always here for consultation, you have the ability to hold us accountable to do what we say we will.
